We’ve got some fab news to share: three Izmi carriers have won at the Junior Design Awards 2026!
The Junior Design Awards celebrate the best in design, innovation and style for families, with products tried, tested and judged by their expert panel. This year, they’ve recognised three of our carriers - from our original Izmi Baby Carrier right through to the Izmi Breeze Adventure Carrier for bigger kids.
We’re really thrilled that the judges picked out so many of the things that really matter to us when we design an Izmi carrier: simple, comfortable carrying, lightweight designs and plenty of freedom to get out and about as a family.
🥇 GOLD: Izmi Breeze Adventure Toddler Carrier - Best Travel Product (For Children)
Our biggest win went to the Izmi Breeze Adventure Carrier, which took Gold in the Best Travel Product for Children category.
Designed for children from around one to six years old, the Izmi Breeze Adventure Carrier is there for the stage when your child can walk perfectly well... until suddenly they absolutely cannot.
The Junior judges loved its wide age range and could see how useful it would be for older children when little legs run out of steam on days out and adventures. They also highlighted its lightweight design, breathable mesh, compact fold and ergonomic support.
In other words: all the reasons we created it in the first place 💜

🥈 SILVER: Izmi Baby Carrier - Best Baby Carrier/Sling Design
Our super-soft cotton Izmi Baby Carrier picked up Silver for Best Baby Carrier/Sling Design.
The judges described it as combining “the softness of a wrap with the simplicity of a buckled carrier” - neatly summing up what makes the Izmi Baby Carrier a little different.
They also praised its comfort and ergonomic support without bulk or complicated fastenings, as well as its inclusive fit from UK size 6 to 28. The latest Izmi Baby Carrier is designed to carry from newborn to around two years, with four carrying positions and a softly padded waistband for comfortable carrying from the very beginning.

🥈 JOINT SILVER: Izmi Breeze Baby Carrier - Best Travel Product (For Babies)
And there was another Silver, this time for the Izmi Breeze Baby Carrier in the Best Travel Product for Babies category.
The judges loved its soft, breathable mesh, ergonomic support and ultra-light design, describing it as particularly well suited to family travel while still being practical for everyday life.
Junior editor Bonita Turner described the Izmi Breeze as “light enough to carry in your handbag” and perfect for spontaneous adventures.
Which is exactly what you want from a carrier when you're travelling - something you can bring along without it becoming another bulky bit of baby kit.

What these awards mean to us
We design Izmi carriers around real family life. That means keeping them comfortable, simple and lightweight, whether you're carrying a tiny newborn close, packing a carrier for a holiday, or giving a tired bigger kid a lift home after a long day out.
So to have three different Izmi carriers recognised for exactly those things feels pretty special.
