We took all the things parents loved about our original Toddler Carrier, and made them even better:
✔️ Longer Lasting for Bigger Kids
Izmi Adventure Carriers are made to carry for longer - all the way up to 6 years+ (yes, really). With a massive 32kg (70.5lbs) weight limit, it's the highest capacity carrier on the market. Big kid wanting cuddles after school? We’ve got you.
Bigger age range: We recommend our Adventure carriers as ideal from an average size 12 months up to 6 years. But this is pretty conservative, as we’ve already tried, tested and loved the Adventures with kids from 9 months to 10 years! If you're not sure which Izmi is best for you, take our quiz!
Higher weight limit: Adventure Carriers are weight tested and suitable from 9kg (20lbs) up to 32kg / 70.5lbs for front and back carrying, and up to 16kg (35lbs) for hip carrying.
✔️ Taller, Adjustable Body Panel
More support for taller kids, bigger bodies and longer legs. Adjustable height, thanks to the new adjusters at the top of the body panel, means it grows with your child. And they can choose, and alternate, between riding with their arms-in or arms-out. Great for children with additional needs, too.
✔️ Ultra-Soft Shoulder Strap Padding
We’ve added some feather-light, marshmallow-soft padding along the centre of our spreadable, wrap-style shoulder straps. You’ll really feel the extra support - especially when you’re back carrying. Less pressure on your shoulders, even with heavy kids.
✔️ Improved Chest Strap
Wider, stronger sternum strap for better weight distribution and a more secure fit. It’s bigger, better, and you can still move it along it’s adjustable track to find the perfect fit for you.
✔️ New Sleek Buckle + Design Updates
New buckle positioning allowed us to ditch the old Perfect Fit Adjusters (PFAs) on the tops of the shoulder straps, without losing that lovely high, tight back carry. Plus, the poppers to attach the add-on pocket are now hidden for a more polished look.
✔️ Supersized Breathable Hood Extension
A bigger hood offers more support for sleepy big heads. Made from soft breathable mesh for safer nap times (without ever covering faces). It also doubles up as a body panel extender; you can popper it on to increase the overall height of the carrier, so that even very tall children can snuggle up and feel fully ‘tucked in’ for snuggles and naps.
✔️ Ooh, New Colours!
Both Adventure Carriers now come in two elevated, gender-neutral tones: classic Grey and Midnight Blue. Who said practical can’t look great?
