From Wear My Baby to Izmi
For more than a decade, Hannah Wallace has helped families find baby carriers that genuinely work for them. As the founder of Wear My Baby, Hannah has supported nearly 20,000 families, tested hundreds of baby carriers and worked with many of the world's leading babywearing brands. Throughout those years, Izmi was always a firm favourite.
In 2024, Hannah took over Izmi from its founder, Emily Rising, one of the UK's first babywearing consultants and a long-time friend and collaborator. Emily created the first Izmi Baby Carrier in 2016, drawing on years of experience helping families to design something lightweight, ergonomic, supportive and refreshingly easy to use.
Today, Hannah and Emily work together at Izmi, combining decades of hands-on babywearing experience to create simple, comfortable carriers for real family life. Emily continues to lead product design, while Hannah runs the business alongside her babywearing education and training work.
