If you would like to use your Izmi Baby Carrier from 2.3kg/5lbs, be sure to get advice from a babywearing or health professional first. 

(That's a fancy way of saying: It's perfectly possible to carry smaller / low birth weight babies in an Izmi Baby Carrier, but please be sure to contact us so we help ensure your baby is safely and optimally positioned. We're happy to have a video chat with you to check.)

Izmi Baby Carrier grows with your baby. You can extend the width of your carrier with hidden Velcro tabs, and increase the height of your carrier with poppers, to ensure an ergonomic and comfy fit at every age and stage.

The body panel width of the Izmi Baby Carrier extends from 18cm-41cm (7"-16")

Safety tested to a max weight of 16kg (33lbs).

If you have a taller/heavier baby, you may want to size up to an Izmi Toddler Carrier sooner, at around 7-9 months.

This ultra-light carrier weighs approximately 460g.

Short version

The Izmi Baby Carrier and Izmi Breeze Baby Carrier are almost identical. The Breeze version just has a mesh body panel for extra air-flow.

Longer version

The Izmi Baby Carrier is made from soft, light, naturally breathable cotton.

The Breeze version has a soft, polyester mesh panel, for extra ventilation to help keep your baby cool.

Aside from that, they're identical. Both the regular and Breeze carriers are suitable for all seasons.

The Izmi Essential Carrier is a older, basic polyester version of the premium cotton, ultra-soft, all-position Izmi Baby Carrier.

The older Essential model does NOT have easy-tighten webbing on the shoulder straps; cannot be used for back carrying; and does not have any matching accessories.
